CHITO SCHOLARSHIP

The Chito Scholarship Program assists Latino youth in underprivileged communities aspiring entrepreneur ventures facing financial hardship by providing $500 scholarship awards to
qualified high school seniors.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for a scholarship:
Be currently enrolled in high school and or graduating in the spring of 2026
Be of Latino heritage
Must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher
California resident
Submit a 500-word essay answering, “What propels your Entrepreneurial Passion?”
Show qualities of distinguished character in entrepreneurship, leadership, and economic hardship
Submit a current photograph of yourself
Application
The Chito Scholarship is currently open. The deadline to apply is April 1, 2026.
Priority is given to students who demonstrate a passion for entrepreneurship and are struggling financially.
The scholarship will be awarded on May 7, 2026. Scholarships are non-renewable. Scholarship awards will be sent directly to recipients. Scholarship awards are non-transferable.
